Mr. Don Cone died Saturday, June 23 at the age of 91.
Don Cone joined Boy Scout Troop 50 in Berkley, California in 1933.
He had no idea that Scouting would become such big part of his life for almost 80 years.
Earning the rank of Eagle Scout in 1937 prepared him for his next big adventure – World War II.
According to his daughter, Marjie Cone Fischer, "He didn't suffer - just stepped into the presence of his Savior and Lord -
where he was met and embraced by his sons, Doug and Andy."
A memorial service for Don Cone will be held
