Zea Bauer Update

Here is an important communicate posted on Facebook by Zea Bauer. She provides an update on the recovery process of Zea and Joe Bauer from their automobile accident in Colorado on August 11.

Zea Bauer

Hi there- wish I could be there but it looks like we won't be getting back to SB until Oct. Give Larry my regards and thanks to all of you for your prayers, well wishes, cards etc. We really feel the love!! Every day sees improvement, especially in Joe. He had a concussion and lung damage to deal with, so even though I have more broken ribs, he has had a more difficult time recuperating. Yesterday he was dressed & up and eating solids and is getting less confused, more focused. The staff is very optimistic and we too as we see him making great strides forward daily. Got a chance to visit the Long's Peak Council trading post & office as it is just a few blocks away from the acute care/rehab center where Joe is. Today we have rain & snow at highest elevations after weeks of 90's! Hear that SB is finally getting some warmer weather. Miss you all and am looking forward to seeing you again in October. Again THANKS!!for the love- we really feel it!!
